The short version.
Sourcework is a one-person studio. We only ask for what we need to do the work, and we keep it to ourselves.
What we collect
When you submit a brief (/build), request a booking (/book), or email us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email, and details about your project. If you pay a deposit, payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Why we use it
Only to respond to you, scope and quote your project, schedule sessions, issue invoices, and deliver the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it lives
Project and contact data is stored in our database (Supabase). Transactional email is sent via Resend. Payments run through Stripe. Each of these providers holds the relevant data only to provide their service.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, then remove what we no longer need.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — email us and we will action it. Closing a project does not require us to keep your data beyond our legal obligations.
Engagement terms
Work is fixed-scope and fixed-cost, quoted up front. A 50% deposit secures the slot; the balance is due on delivery. Anything outside the agreed scope is discussed before it is started.
